Tired Brain Dump

Everyone,

My SIL Splats challenged me to do All Things Fadra’s 5 minute brain dump.  And now, you guys get to read the results!

#SOCsunday

Juice just woke me up from an impromptu nap.  It’s Sunday afternoon and I am exhausted.  I spent 6 and a half hours at church this afternoon.  3 hours of that was normal church, and the rest was meetings and getting ready for teaching the primary kids.  It’s my month for sharing time, which means I teach all the kids ages 3-11.  Today our lesson was on faith.  I gave them all carrot seeds to take home to remind them that faith can start out tiny and grow like a seed.

I hear someone snoring over the baby monitor.  My kids are tired today.  Along with me!  We went to a family reunion last night and stayed later than we thought.  Juice’s cousin lives nearby (as in about an hour away) and she has an amazing little farm.  We had such a good time.  The kids jumped on the trampoline, rode little cars around, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, and caught fireflies.  We visited with everyone.  Obviously we had a good time because we didn’t leave until about 10:30pm.  Professor fell asleep in the car right away but the other two stayed up and watched Aladdin in the car and ate chips.

We’re all tired today.

Tomorrow, we get to pick up Flower from the airport!  If you don’t know who flower is, she is Juice’s niece (mine too, but from his side) and is 17 this year.  She has come to stay with us every year since the boys were born as my helper and live in babysitter.  We always have a GRAND time with her here and I am so so so excited to be able to get out without the kids a little bit.  She has a few friends here and I looking forward to seeing them (as well as us) I’m sure.

I have a busy day tomorrow so I better go to bed.  But first!  Mango smoothies!
