Everyone,
Today is the day that Professor has decided that he is going to walk. There was basically no crawling done at all today. He was walking. By the end of the day he was pretty steady too. I can’t believe how fast they are growing up! In no time he is going to be running!
Also today he has decided to start talking. Remember at our last doctor’s appointment they thought maybe he wasn’t hearing everything because he wasn’t saying anything? Well he now says more than Pirate. “Wow” was his first word. Followed closely today by “bye” “woof” and “mom”. Mom comes out more “maaammmm?” but it’s super cute.
Here is a video of him walking…if I can get it to load. I wish our family could see this in person.
Pirate is not walking as well as Professor but he does walk some. He is still in the drunken salior mode and fall often. It’s hard to get long limbs to do what you want them to! Still, he is as happy as can be. We love these boys so much. And their walking talking big sister too. Today she was jumping over Juice’s basketball telling us she was the cow jumping over the moon. Too cute.

I think I figured out how to publish movies. So here you go. This is Pirate crawling in the cast.
Okay, so it’s just me trying to get him to crawl. Try this one.
And yes, I realize that I use their real names in the videos. Because unlike most of you, I can’t call them by their internet names without having to stop and think about it first. And I don’t have time to stop and think some days!
At the very end you heard Butterfly’s question for EVERYTHING. WHY??? It’s okay most of the time, but after about 200 whys in a day, I’m pooped.
Happy Birthday Dad! My Dad has been generous enough to have his birthday on National Pancake Day and decided to celebrate with free pancakes from IHOP! Yes, it’s true people. You can get free pancakes at IHOP today. Think of my dad while you eat them.

Everyone,
Now that my internet is up and working (still having some issues with the cable…stupid tv company) I thought I would show off Butterfly a little bit. My mom has been begging for pictures of this little girl, and those will come tomorrow. Today, video!
This first one is her helping us decorate the tree. She is determined to put that ornament on the light. I think Juice moved it after she put it up, but it’s still very cute.
This one is of her trying to put a hair bow on Soot. When I was younger, I used to dress up our old dog all the time. She fit so well into my doll clothes. And I would put her in my back pack and cart her around the house or out on my bike. Let me tell you she didn’t like the bike rides. I’m glad that Butterfly and Soot are becoming friends, and that Soot doesn’t seem to mind these things too much.
This last one is of Butterfly and Juice reading her favorite book. This girl loves to read. And she has a few books memorized. She will even point out the word dog if she’s in the mood. But this book is one of her favorites. You can see why.
