Everyone,
This week on the Multiples and More blog is a photo link up of pumpkin patch pictures.

Wouldn’t you know it…we went to the pumpkin patch yesterday and I FORGOT my camera. So last year’s picture will have to do!

Everyone,
Today we took the kids to the pumpkin patch. The normal pumpkin patch that we go to closed down. But we thought we would stop by and REALLY make sure it was closed. It has been threatening to close for several years. Guess what? This year it actually closed.
No worries, though. The farm down the street was having basically the same thing! Also for free!
Sadly, I forgot my camera. Chalk it up to stress, chalk it up to distraction, chalk it up to cleaning and putting the camera away, chalk it up to missing my small camera. Something. I can’t believe that I forgot it.
We got the kids each a pumpkin. They fed the animals. Pirate so wanted to pet every single animal. He fed the horse, the donkey, the ducks, the goats and the chickens. He has no fear.
Professor, on the hand, doesn’t want to touch anything. He’s content on pretending to be an animal on the sidelines. He thought the pile of pumpkins was great, though. And also a jungle gym.
And Butterfly is just as sweet as ever. She spent most of her time with the chickens because they were the easiest to feed. She was excited about the horse, though. I can’t wait to start her in on riding lessons!
It was a good afternoon to spend with our family.

Everyone,
Today we did all the fun stuff I meant to do in the week leading up to Halloween. I didn’t get to that because of my awesome adventure out of state (without kids or a hubby!) but I will talk about that later on this week. (Remember, a month of writing starts today!)
Yesterday we were able to go to a pumpkin patch and Butterfly went trick or treating with her dance friend. Today after church and naps we carved our pumpkin, made homemade doughnuts (yes I did! They are tasty!) and drank cider. It’s been a good Halloween this year.
Today was the boys’ first day in nursery. Yay! Guess where I spent most of my church time? Yep, in nursery. Professor was a champ. He walked right in and played great all 2 hours. Pirate, on the other hand, was upset. He cried and cried and cried until I couldn’t take it anymore. Poor thing. He sat on my lap sucking his thumb doing the after sobbing breathing. This transition is going to be fun. Ugh. Juice came in a little later and we switched off. I really hope the boys learn to like nursery because I could use the break.
Pictures to brighten your day!
