Everyone,
Because I’m too tired to think of anything more original, here is our schedule for the day.
7am-I had intended on waking up earlier than this but didn’t. I’m up and ready in half an hour.
7:30am- I get Vinny and Mimi up. I get Professor up. Butterfly and Pirate are still snoring so I leave them in their beds.
7:45am- After everyone is changed and dressed to go to school, we go down for breakfast. Frozen pancakes and waffles for everyone! While I make lunches, Vinny and Mimi eat and Professor screams on the floor. You see, he wants me to sit with him. While he eats.
8:15am- I finally get Professor to eat.
8:25am- I get Butterfly and Pirate up and dressed.
8:30am- I start getting shoes and coats on everyone. I shove a bagel into Pirates hand’s and rush everyone out the door. (Butterfly eats breakfast at school.)
8:50am- I drop Vinny off at school.
9:05am- I drop Butterfly off at her school.
9:30am- I arrive at the grocery store. We are completely out of string cheese and people are going to revolt in my house unless I get some.
10:30am- Home. Barney for the kids. I put away the groceries (minus the cheese sticks and some grapes they eat.) This then morphs into full blown lunch. Oatmeal all around.
Noon- NAP!!
2:30pm- I wake everyone and gets coats and shoes.
2:45pm- Car pick up line for Vinny.
3:25pm- Pick up Butterfly.
3:45pm- Park! I figured these kids all need an out! We play for about an hour.
5pm- Dinner crazies back at home. The big kids pull out their homework (not that Butterfly has any, but she played along).
5:15pm- Juice comes home and we eat! Yay dinner!
6pm- We start bath rounds. First up, my boys. I help Vinny with his reading and clean up dinner.
6:30pm- Mimi’s bath! Her hair curls very cutely.
7pm- Butterfly bath.
7:45pm- Vinny is finally done with his home work. He gets in the shower and we put the little kids to bed.
8:15pm- Big kids finally in bed.
8:30pm- Big kids BACK in bed.
9pm- After cleaning up the rest of the kitchen, I exhaustively flop on to the couch.
Not included in the hourly list:
Several fights broken up, several very scary diapers, lots of deep breathing from me.
Maybe we DON’T want any more kids…

Everyone,
I stayed up late talking to my mom tonight for our weekly chat (hi mom! Great to talk to you!) so tonight’s entry will be things I did today.
All four of us up, dressed, fed, and exercised. The kids love to do my exercises with me (and get in the way sometimes) and it’s very cute. You should see them try and do push ups!
All four of us out at the mall exchanging too small pajamas for not too small pajamas. And seriously, for a children’s store, the Ch*ildren’s Pl*ace is really NOT stroller friendly.
All four of us out at Ikea on an errand for Daddy. He needed a new lamp. I go there to get the $8 lamp and leave minus $50. Why is that? Butterfly had a grand old time in the kid’s play area and then we had lunch there. Yum!
All four of us drive home in horrible rush hour traffic. The kids napped…I did not. The kids were awake when we got home. I was tired. They refused to come inside. We ended up playing outside for over an hour. In this hour the following happened: Pirate made himself a mud puddle and promptly sat in it. I spent at least half of the time trying to wrangle both boys down the street to get the mail while Butterfly fought the remaining leaves off the tree out front. I finally managed to get everyone inside when the sun started to set. It was not without some tears.
All four of us rejoiced when Daddy came home. We had dinner, the kids had baths and then to bed. I braved the store for a few things for tomorrow and a free redbox movie rental. Now to find time to watch it!
Happy Thanksgiving Eve!

Everyone,
I seem to always be really busy huh? And I don’t know why the past few weeks have been really busy but they have. Next week I have nothing but Thanksgiving (more on that later) and it should be a quiet week.
But today was really busy. It started off this morning with my trip to the “share church” where I helped bag over 100 bags of meat and over 100 bags of veggies. This is so much fun for me. I look forward to doing it every month. This month I came home with a turkey, a bag of meat and a bag of veggies, and all the stuff to make a turkey dinner (green beans, stuffing, pies, etc) for only $45. Nice!
Juice and I spent the next half hour or so reorganizing our freezer so we could put all the food in. We are desperate for a big chest freezer I think since I keep jam packing the little one above our fridge. I am on a no freezer items ban until we can see light in our freezer again. Okay.
I spent about half an hour in the attic today looking for blanket sleepers for the boys. I know when Butterfly was little I used to buy her blue and yellow and green sleepers so I could hand them down to the next kid. Butterfly had some pretty cute clothes! I found all her newborn stuff and it’s hard to imagine her being that small. I did also find the blanket sleepers and that is what the boys are wearing tonight for bed. Professor looks so cute and cuddly in his bright blue sleeper tonight. However, Pirate looks a little stretched. Could it be that he is TALLER than Butterfly was at this age?! It’s late or I’d go look in my archives and find out. Either way, I’m going to have to go get more sleepers in a bigger size so he will actually be able to wear them all winter long. Sigh…I have twins that can’t share clothes!!
While I was in the attic I did a quick look over of my Christmas pile and realized I’m going to have to spend time up there organizing it and figuring out exactly what I have. This is the problem of buying all year long…I forget what I buy! During this time the boys were sobbing at the ceiling because I was up there without them. Poor kids.
We also went to the store (no freezer stuff) and I got a free knife and a free juicer for answering questions at one of those sales tables in the $200 store. I am also a sucker and bought what he was selling. I’m excited about it too!
After a nice lunch of hot dogs, we ran to another store to get a few last minute things for Thanksgiving. Mostly I needed dried cherries and this store is the only place I know where to get them in town. I just happened to buy a few more things while I was there. Like sparkling blueberry juice. How tasty does that sound?!
Once everything was put away, naps were needed. Me included. I slept for almost 3 hours. So did the kids. I woke up with a splitting headache and it hasn’t gone away all evening. Dinner, bath, bed. Then, silence. Ahhh…sleeping children!
I have just spent the evening going over my Christmas list and buying online the rest of what I know I needed to buy. I am almost all done. My goal is to finish this up coming week and get everything sent to Utah by the 10th of December. That should get it there on time for Christmas. Right Mom and her UPS friends?
Yet another busy and full day!

Everyone,
We all had one DRY night. Last night, I told Butterfly that she could get a book at the used book store today if she was dry last night. This morning, she was so put out and grumpy that she declared she did not want to get a new book. EVER. Never ever ever!
Okay then. No book today.
How much do you want to bet that she will remember it in a few days at the most inconvenient time and demand that we go get the promised book that second. And then there will be another fit because I won’t be able to.
Good times in my house let me tell you!
On a totally unrelated note, I do feel rather accomplished today. I cleaned my living room and vacuumed with my new vacuum! (Yay for early Christmas presents) I did two loads of dishes. I went to a doctor’s appointment with just my book for company. (Thanks Juice! That’s an awkward appointment to take kids to.) I even went out and saw a movie with my friend Lolli! I haven’t seen a movie in about 6 months, and then we only go to the kid movies. Although this movie may as well have been a kid’s movie. It was okay, but not great.
And now, I’m exhausted. Time for an early bed!

Everyone,
Here is a list of three things I loved about today.
1- Being able to be a good friend and do some serious listening on the phone without screaming kids around. Juice took them outside to play in their pjs and they LOVED it. Butterfly most of all.
2- Looking at the bottom of my receipt from that bulls eye place and seeing, “You’ve saved $58.97!” on it. Sweet!!
3- Finding Cheddar and Sour Cream ruffles at the ’200 dollar store’. I rarely see these in the normal grocery store and I was happy to pick up a bag today! Yum yum!
What things have you loved about today?

Everyone,
Last night my head was whirling with all the thoughts of things I should do this week. I couldn’t sleep. It was after 11pm. I just sat and thought and thought and thought. So I got up, flipped on the light (much to Juice’s dismay, sorry darling) and wrote out a list of things I should do today and the rest of the week. Once I couldn’t think of anything else, I put the list down, turned off the light and went right to sleep. It was near midnight.
Butterfly woke up at 6:30am this morning.
This might be a reason why I look like I have two major black eyes. I’m beat.
So, not only did I get only about 6 hours of sleep last night, I actually accomplished most of my things on my list. I did a load of laundry (playing with doing one load a day instead of having a laundry day…might make it easier to put the laundry away). I made laundry soap. (Yes I make my own, post on that to follow.) I did a load of dishes. I cleaned the table off and all the counters. Everyone got breakfast, clean diapers, and morning naps/movies. We went to the craft store for a project for me and Butterfly. (More on that later too.) I made a hot lunch today. I talked to both my parents. I made dinner. I took all the kids to the park (with Juice and the dog). I cleaned out 300 pictures and backed them up onto my external hard drive in their correct month and year folders.
Things that I didn’t get done today but will probably get done this week include: the floors. Boy do they need a good cleaning!
So it was a very productive day. I’m hoping for another one like it tomorrow with more sleep. Maybe I’ll be able to pick up the toys, do my laundry load, go through Butterfly’s winter wardrobe and make notes of what I need for her, find hats and mittens for everyone, go through the mail, do some more pictures, get started on that craft project with Butterfly, enjoy my kids, hug my husband, take a nap, blog.
That doesn’t sound like too much does it?

Everyone,
It seems like every time you go on vacation you come back and have to jump back into real life. I was gone for 6 weeks. I had a lot of jumping back to do. And today was the day to do it. I had a big list of 16 things to do today. I got 8 things done. They included bank, post office, going through stacks and stacks of mail, and making some doctor appointments for me and the boys. I figured since Flower is here I’ll be able to go to the eye doctor by myself. Also, the boys will be 15 months old on Saturday. Can you believe it?!
We also went outside and played for awhile. Flower took Butterfly over the park behind our house. Professor walks more outside than he does inside. He took 12 steps in a row carrying a big stick yesterday. He also walked across my living room by himself this afternoon. He is so close to walking on his own.
I started up Netflix again and we’re off to enjoy a movie!

Everyone,
Things I have done today in list form because that’s all the brain power I have.
- baked 9 small round pizza crusts and one full pan for the party tomorrow
- went to the resource center and let the kids play…felt like a good mom
- went out to lunch, had a great time
- talked to my BFF Mink for 2 hours while everyone napped
- wrapped presents while talking to her
- cleaned some (not a lot) while talking to her…current topic: what to do when our parents are old and need 24 hour care (random I know but seriously, we talk about strange things and love it which is why she is my BFF)
- made broccoli salad for the first time for a church function tonight
- had 2 people ask me for the recipe which I amazingly remembered but still can’t finish a sentence if I wanted to
- went to the store for party food stuffs and our week’s worth of groceries
- picked up Butterfly’ birthday cake for tomorrow and a fruit tart for her actual birthday on Sunday
- enjoyed previously mentioned church function and didn’t learn a thing…which is good. I’m on the right track I think.
- lost my camera battery charger and went digging through the whole house for it
- Juice found it under my camera bag, after tearing up the whole house for it
- he ran into a moldy banana in the diaper bag and was TOTALLY grossed out for touching it…oops, I forgot that was in there
- tried to clean some tonight and gave up
- reminded myself that Juice has the day off tomorrow and can help me clean before the party in the afternoon
- going to bed later than I wanted to
- charging my camera battery! Yay pictures

Everyone,
This is going to be one boring list of things that I need to do in the next few days. Feel free to skip it if you want.
- Finalize the food for the boys birthday in about 2 weeks!
- I have over 600 emails in my inbox. Maybe I should go through that.
- Get started on Professor’s video. Poor third child is missing out!
- Do the dishes. We have several days worth due to Juice being gone almost every night this week. He normally does them. I leave them for him most days because he likes to feel like he’s a part of the household. Totally fine by me! But today there are several loads to run so I thought I’d help him out.
- Laundry. Ever present laundry.
- Bank and mailbox. I finally managed to see Twilight the movie. With Juice even! I convinced him that we should buy the books! Hmm…maybe I can head over to the used book store while I’m out.
- Address, stamp, and send invites to the party. Curse the fact that Butterfly lost my address book over a year ago and email everyone who needs an invite for their address.
- In between all of this, look after the kids, 2 dogs and try not to be freaked out over every little movement in the corner of my eye. I hate having this mouse around. At least the last one we found Soot killed!
- Talk to my mom and sister in law about their trip next week! I can’t believe they will be here in 7 short days.
- Sigh…I guess I need to add house cleaning to this list.
So, one more busy day in our life. Do you ever get bored of reading what I do every day? I do sometimes. I’m amazed anyone besides my parents and grandparents still read.
