Netflix Has the Good Stuff

Tonight we had some friends of Jucie’s over for dinner.  As they came in and met the kids, Butterfly pipes up with this gem:

“We’re watching She-Ra on Netflix.  Netflix has some awesome stuff and this is really good.  Netflix only has the good stuff.  And it’s new too!”

Of course, then I had to explain to her that She-Ra was the cartoon that I used to watch as a little girl.  But it’s new to her and that is what matters.

Other things that Netflix has:

Things that Netflix doesn’t have:

Get on that Netflix, okay?  Especially the My Little Pony show.  I have a 6 year old who would LOVE it.  And then maybe I could enjoy that instead of the new Care Bears (which, frankly, I hate.)

What show do you remember from your childhood?

The need to add Gilmore Girls too, in my opinion anyway! I did remember He-Man and She-Ra were bro/sis, didn’t remember they were twins. I think you’ve got most of the good shows on your list. Back when we got DVD’s as well as streaming ElCid got all the Gummy Bears Seasons, the girls loved it! Watching TNG in order, as an adult, has shed all kinds of light on what the series was really about, I still want to be Deanna Troi…

I don’t care if they add Gilmore Girls…I own them all. :)

The Snorks, Smurfs, Shirt Tales, and Quantum Leap (which is on Netflix) were some of the ones I remember watching. Oh, and Popples, Faerie Tale Theatre with Shelly Duvall, Perfect Strangers (with Cousin Larry) and Small Wonder. The list goes on and on because cartoons were awesome when we were young and the shows were pretty good for the most part too. Step By Step and everything else on TGIF…..
