Happy 31st Birthday to Me!

Happy 31 Birthday Me

Happy 31 Birthday Me pancakes

Tonight we celebrated my 31st birthday with birthday pancakes (cake batter cooked like pancakes with runny icing on top and candles) and a few fun phone calls.

I love that the kids were so excited to help me blow out the candles. I wanted to do it several times because it would make me and them happy.

It’s good to have a birthday.

Birthday pancakes!

Cute idea with the pancakes! We always blow out the candles more than once. So much more fun that way! Happy Birthday again.

I thinned down some frosting with milk and put sprinkles in it. Then I just drizzled it over the top.

So I Googled Cake batter pancakes and they sound intriguing. What recipe did you use? I’m glad you had a very happy birthday!

My family scarfed them. Even Juice, who is not a cake person, ate several. He said it was the perfect cake to frosting ratio. As for a recipe? I used a box of confetti cake mix, mixed it up how it says on the back of the box, and then cooked them like pancakes. Easy peasy!
